Pet care experience
For as long as I can remember, my family has always had at least one dog and because of that it has molded me to be a big animal lover. I also volunteered at La Crescent Animal Rescue for over 3 years while in college. We currently have one large but very friendly, playful, and goofy boy named Goose who is almost 3. We also welcomed our newest dog Aspen into the family in April 2022. She is so playful and sweet, loves her big brother. And any other dog too! Family and friends have relied on my help to care for their pets throughout my life as well. We are able to provide a wide variety of services that can adapt to what you need or what your pup needs.

Kelly is absolutely fantastic and trustworthy! Our dog always comes home happy and gets excited going back to Kelly’s house. Kelly sends frequent updates and pictures and communicates any questions immediately with us! I highly recommend having Kelly as your dog sitter any time!
Kelly was amazing with our dogs! They got lots of love and activity, and they were able to play to their hearts content. 10/10 would book again and recommend to friends.
Kelly did a great job watching my dog! She was very tired when I got her back so she definitely got some exercise playing with her dog a whole bunch. I would feel very comfortable using her again.

We have a Furbo dog camera that allows me to see what our pup is up to and the camera allows me to speak to him. It is also set up to alert me if there is an emergency in the home such as a fire, carbon monoxide alarm, etc. Our dogs have never shown aggression to any other dog and are very regularly socialized by going to daycare and spending time with our friends/families dogs. I can provide regular walks, check ins, feeding, etc. I NEVER leave a clients dog alone with my dogs while I am away. Even though all dogs could be friendly, I am never willing to take the risk. We have plenty of extra bedrooms to separate dogs while we are away.

Just let me know if your dog prefers lower energy activities, is easily overstimulated, or can be a bit hesitant or nervous around larger dogs. Knowing that information or any other specifics about your dog will only help me ensure they have the best time with us! I enjoy getting to know other dogs so there’s really no such thing as too much info! I appreciate knowing any and all information you can share with me about your pup to keep them as comfortable and happy as possible while you are away. Thank you for considering us!
A typical day
One of my favorite things to do is take my dog for a walk. We typically go around our neighborhood and we’ve got a nice 3 mile loop. I also enjoy walking my dogs Goose and Aspen on different trails around the La Crosse area, I know they would always be happy to have another friend! Any time I am able to be out and playing with the dogs, it is what I enjoy doing! We can also accommodate lower energy dogs with a quick walk and hanging out at home the rest of the day. I have tons of toys too!

Availability
I do work full time, but have a flexible schedule! My boyfriend is home earlier than I am usually so when our dog is home alone a few days a week, it’s for no more than 8 hours. Additionally, he is let out and checked on regularly. We are home regularly after work and on weekends we enjoy spending time at home and out with our dog on walks, hikes, swimming, playing, etc. We are able to be flexible
