Hello, My name is Kelly, my husband is David, and our home has 3 pet friendly fur babies; one dog, one cat, and one toddler. Our family is open and dedicated to taking care of pets. I (Kelly) grew up loving and caring for animals (cats, dogs, chickens, and even skunks!-good story). We've always had a pet pal in home as part of our family. I can't imagine not having a furry friend to come home to. I currently work from home where we have a calico cat (Athena 9 yrs), a blue heeler dog (Gaia 2 yrs), and a human son (Ambrose 3yrs) that get along very well and are all great with other pets. When we got Gaia we had a fantastic local in home dog trainer come teach us how to care for her and be dog pack leaders. Our cat is dog friendly- she's dog like and even plays fetch and goes on evening walks with our dog on occasion. As long as your dog doesn't constantly chase her, we're a good fit. Our dog naturally (blue heeler breed) growls when anyone enters the home but after 5 min is calm. She loves having a buddy to play with. She has plenty of toys and puzzles to share. Our son loves having the variety of animals stay in our home. He's very respectful of space and gentle with pets. He also knows if his toys are on the floor then the dogs can have them (helps us make him clean up after himself). Schedule a meet and greet to see if we're a good fit for your pet stay!
