Pet care experience
Hi all! My name is Kelly and I have grown up with dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and ages. I have spent countless hours caring for foster dogs with local rescues, Rover pups, and friends’ dogs. My dachshund loves to have company and play, so there is an opportunity for plenty of socializing. If your pup enjoys more time to themselves, that works too! I also have experience caring for puppies, post-operation dogs, medications, and injections. Willing to run with your pup or take them to the park if they need just a little more exercise! During the week, I will be in class as a Physician Assistant Student at UD, but I am available in the morning, lunch time, and in the evening (or really anytime between class) for walks, play, and potty time. Kelly was AMAZING to work with. We have never left our fur babies home with anyone other than family but Kelly was just as amazing! She sent lots of photos, promptly responded to messages, and was extremely flexible with our schedules. She was very attentive and kind to our sometimes rambunctious pups!

Kelly did a great job. The dogs were happy to see us but you could tell they were very well cared for. Kelly sent us regular updates and pictures of our pets and you could tell they were enjoying themselves. Kelly did a great job and was very accommodating. We would hire her again in the future. Kelly was very responsive and helpful. It made our trip great because we knew the pets were in good hands.

No breed restrictions. Your rules are my rules. If there are certain things you do not allow in your home, it will be the same in mine. -Do they have any allergies? Food, seasonal, skin, etc. -Do they have food aggression? -Is your furbaby spayed/neutered? -Does your pup become a fussy eater while away from home? Stops eating or eat very little? -What are their fears/triggers? Loud noises, sudden movement, overstimulation, crowded by dogs, handling (being picked up or touched somewhere they don’t like), etc. -Has your pup has been previously socialized so we may take the correct & safe steps to keep everyone happy and stress-free. -Let know ahead of time of any habits – chewing, taking food off counters, nervous/submissive/excited accidents, etc. so we can be ready and make adjustments for your pups stay. -What is their normal daily home routine? When do they get up, eat, how many times a day do they eat, etc. **All I ask to be brought is food (to avoid upset tummies), collar/leash, favorite toy and/or blanket to feel more at home and kennel if they need or use one.**
A typical day
Walks or runs in the neighborhood or at a park/trail. Plenty of fetch and toy time in the yard. Lots of pictures and updates.
