I love pets. I love hikes. Rover is a great way to combine the two, dogs and walking, horses and walking, and what a better environment for all three than in Marin. I am open to all times of the day dog or horse walk, or horse care requests since my daily schedule is flexible. I prefer hour-long walks. My little guy, Nolan, is a cat. I walk him every day, always under supervision, and I plan to offer the same for your pet.

Kelly was fantastic! My dog Holly can be a tricky one to walk but Kelly handled it great and Holly came back a happy and tired pup! Will definitely be reaching out again for future walks.

Your dog must be cat-friendly. My cat rules the roost. You must know in advance that your pup adores and respects cats. A dog that loves cats is welcome. Horses must be trained in respect. If your horse understands my pressure, and release communication then I'm happy and safe.

Please let me know if your dog has leash aggression, or if he lunges. If you don't want him given treats, please let me know. If I need to watch out for him eating random items. If your dog training includes command words that are not intuitive, please let me know.
A typical day
Marin walks are great. I like to hike the Dipsea Trail if your dog lives near it. I like Hawk Hill in Tennesee Valley. I like Southern Heights Ridge in San Rafael. Horse Hill is great. Baltimore Canyon, and King Mountain in Larkspur. Blithedale Ridge trails, Ring Mountain and Cascade Canyon are wonderful, also. Indian Valley Preserve, Horse Hill, and Tahoe Donner include my horse experience. Two of them are horse ranches with stalls and paddocks, and one is a herd that roams freely. I care for horses in both settings.

My schedule is flexible due to the variety of pets in my care. I like to keep my weekends open to spend time with family, and daylight walks work better for me.
