Pet care experience
I currently have a two-year-old Boxer. We love to play fetch and go to the beach together. My older brother and I share duties walking, feeding, and playing with her. Occasionally, I dog-sit for a friend who has a three-year-old Beagle/Bulldog mix. My duties include feeding her accordingly, giving her fresh water, and letting her outside for 20-30 minutes to play and stretch her legs. I love all dogs as if they were my own, I understand the importance of positive reinforcement and attention!

Kelly has been my neighbor for many years now. Her and her family have always taken such good care of their pets; I knew I could trust her to watch my Great Pyrenees and 2 Persians while my husband and I went away on vacation. I left Kelly with specific instructions for animal care and I have to say she followed them exactly. Both of my cats need medication for their eyes and she had no problem administering the drops. Furthermore, I know my pup can be a lot to handle but other neighbors commented on how comfortable and confident Kelly looked walking him 3-4 times a day as well as playing with him in the back yard. Kelly brushed his undercoat as requested and even made sure his hair was cleaned up around the house, which is really was impressed me most. Finally, she made sure to send me updates and pictures of my furry friends as requested throughout my trip. It was quite a big relief to know they were well taken care of.

Before sitting, I would like to know the dog's breed type, age, their temperament (friendly or nervous), and any medical so that I can interact accordingly. I do not have any breed preference! However, know that I am very comfortable with large dogs, and being slobbered on with kisses does not bother me!
A typical day
I am comfortable taking extended walks all around owner's neighborhoods. If hills are nearby, I prefer taking those routes for a better workout for the dogs. Also, if comfortable with the owner, and depending on the dog's comfort level, I am open to and would be happy to drive to a nearby dog park with them. I will play tug-of-war, hold their chew-toys for them while they chew, and reward them with biscuits/milk-bones after following directions or going outside. Also, thorough behind-the-ear scratches and petting will always be given!
