Pet care experience
We work from home the majority of the time and can offer your pet specialized attention. We are experienced in senior care and are comfortable administering medications and handling special needs. We have a new family member, so we are not accepting meet and greets without proof of vaccines. We will need you to send us proof of vaccination, rabies, and Bordetella before we agree to a meet and greet. We only host a single family of dog(s) at one time and will provide your family member with a 5-star stay and accommodations. We accept dogs with hair as opposed to fur. We can host the following breeds: Bichon Frise Bolognese Brussels Griffon Chinese Crested Coton de Tulear Havanese Lhasa Apso Löwchen Maltese Miniature Schnauzer Puli Shih Tzu Silky Terrier Toy Poodle Yorkshire Terrier Xoloitzcuintli With us, your pup gets all the TLC he/she craves. As we work from home, one of us is mostly home during the day to give your dog cuddles and exercise. We will treat your furkid(s) as one of our own. We have A/C and Heat, so your pooch won't be too hot or too cold. We were pet parents to a senior rescue shih tzu for 10 years, she lived to be about 20 yrs old. We miss our Zoe dearly. We now have a male puppy so if your senior needs quiet time that could be difficult in 2024. We have experience with medications, special care, home cooked meals, and/or special diets. We welcome adolescents too! We can provide them with the love, patience, and attention they need. We enjoy playing with young dogs and understand they may be in training and are working on being good canine citizens.

Kelly & Dimitri are lovely people and provided our puppy with a loving safe place to stay for our trip. They were very kind and even gave us a nice gift and report card for our puppy. They kept us up to date and provided her with tons of love and cuddles. We highly recommend them for puppy care!
I have never had such a great boading experience. They are loving and wonderful care givers for our shih tzu Coco. My only concern was that she would not want to come home. I totally trust them and would call them first for future boarding needs.

Dimitry & Kelly ! Are absolutely the best in the business 🫶🏽 their attention to care for your furry babies is the red carpet treatment… I have a senior dog that needs more care and attention than usual, and did not feel comfortable about boarding him at a facility. It was absolutely a blessing that I found them on Rover.com and couldn’t be more grateful. They did an amazing doggie report card about his day how he ate also his intake of medicine on a spreadsheet. All I can say is you don’t get this anywhere else except for people that are hands on and extreme dog lovers, which they are. Thank you so much!

For new boarders, we require a Meet & Greet in advance of your booking confirmation. If you are coming from out of town, we can arrange FaceTime. It's a great way to see if we are a good fit. Please have proof of current vaccine records for DAPP, Rabies, Doggy Flu, and Bordetella. Kennel Cough vaccine needs to be no more than 6 months. Our goal is to make your dog's visit so fun that they hardly miss you. Our yard is fenced, locked, and we only will allow supervised yard time. We have beds around the house and both small and large pens for dogs who prefer them. We can do leash walks too around our neighborhood multiple times a day. With your permission we can take your dog to the beach (if they are current with the doggy flu shot regimen), the dog park, or around town with us. For car rides, we will need your dog to have their license tag. We have a raised car seat for one small dog.

Please provide proof of current vaccine records for DAPP, Rabies, Bordetella prior to booking. Bordetella must be within 6 months. We require that your pet be on flea medication. Any signs of fleas and we will request you or your emergency contact pick up your dog promptly. It is very helpful to have an updated profile for your dog(s) so that special needs, local emergency contact, and vet information are handy in the event of an emergency. If your dog is on a special diet - especially homemade and/or raw, and needs space in the refrigerator or freezer, please let us know. We prefer these meals be in single serving size freezer bags and labeled with the day of week and AM/PM. Medicines also need to be labeled. Bring a tote bag for your dog with their name on it. We have beds and toys here. If your pup is still crate trained, please provide your crate. If not, please be sure to bring sufficient pee pads for the duration of your pets stay. If your pup needs something to chew on, please bring their favorite chew toy or bone. We do have toys in case you forget one.
A typical day
Your family member while staying with us will enjoy time in our home while Kelly and her husband work from their home office. We will take walks multiple times per day unless your pup prefers to lounge on the couch. We have a fenced/locked in backyard for rambunctious playtime and live in a safe neighborhood for walks. Oldies can be comfy on our dog beds. Youngsters can run about under close supervision in our home.

We accommodate drop-offs between 7-10 AM based on our work schedule and pick-ups no later than 9 PM. If you require timing outside of this window we are happy to discuss and consider on a case by case basis. Boarding is a 24-hour period. Please select drop off and pick up time with no more than a 1-hour window.
