Quick summary in case you don't want to read all the details: We work fulltime Monday through Friday, but have flexibility to be home every 4 hours if needed. We have had dogs since we were small children growing up with our families. We have two dogs of our own: husky and hound/pit mix who love to run and play! Our home is your dog's home away from home! Going on vacation or leaving home is often a wonderful experience, but leaving your furbabies alone can often be the most nervewracking experience that I know! We have had wonderful experiences leaving our two girls in the hands of pet owners and we love to return the courtesy. We strive to provide the same loving, fun home environment that we seek for our own dogs with someone who is as attentive and loving as they are with their own. We stay in touch regularly with updates and photos as I know that's what I love to see at the end of the day! Believe me, my camera roll is full of dog pictures! My husband and I have grown up with dogs and love to love on other dogs as if they are our own. We are no stranger to dogs with tons of energy or chill, cuddle bugs. This is why my husband, Chirag, and I decided to join Rover. The other reason is our two other dogs. We have two rescue dogs now, a husky and a hound/pit mix, who, if they could have it their way, would have tons of brothers and sisters. We'd like to rescue all of the dogs in Charlotte if we could! They are part of our family, no exceptions! We work full time during the week, but have the flexibility to come home at lunch time if your fur child needs more attention. The longest he/she will ever be left alone is 6 hours. We start each day with bathroom breaks, playtime and breakfast. We can start as early as needed as our two girls love to rise with the sun! Before leaving for work, we will separate all the dogs in the house to make sure there is no unsupervised play time - they will want the nap to rest up for evening playtime! In the evenings, we have a fenced-in yard where your pets can run and play to their heart's desire. If needed, my fiance and I can take them on runs through the neighborhood as well. On weekends, we will only take in and care for dogs if we will be here most of the weekend as we know how important it is to make sure that our dogs are able to enjoy their weekend with their cool parents as well! Dogs are welcome to all furniture in our home, so we ask that they are flea and tick free, as well as preventive medications. If fleas are found, we will notify you ASAP and charge an additional fee for flea bathing. Given that we do have a yard, dogs may come home dirtier than when they arrived as it is possible for our yard to get flooded in storms. We will do everything in our power to keep them out of the puddles, but dogs will be dogs! We are happy to bathe your pups so they are ready to come home fresh and clean for an additional charge. We certainly are not a fit for every dog, but for those that are friendly and want to have tons of play time during their own vacation, we hope you will consider our home. We only offer boarding in our home at this time as we love spending time with our own and do not want to sacrifice their well being. We are open to all guests!
