Great home away from home for your dog in our Alameda house. We have a large backyard with plenty of room to play. Live within walking distance of the Alameda dog park at Washington, the beach, and the walking paths at the Point. We like to take weekend and week day adventures to the many tails in the Oakland Hills as well Point Isabel and Oyster Point. We've had dogs all of our lives and currently have one 6 year old Australian Shepherd mix. She loves to play and gets along well with small dogs (her best friend is a westy) and large dogs (her other good friend is a rottweiler mix). We all love cuddling together on the couch with a movie when we're not out walking. I work from home and am available to watch your dog during the week or weekend. All your dog needs for their stay is a bed and their food. You can have a great night out or trip away knowing that your dog is well cared for, treated like family, being walked and having fun! About this sitter: Kelly I have owned dogs most of my life. My first love was a dachshund named Amour. My greatest love was an Norwegian Elkhound named Abtu and my newest love is an Australian Shepherd mix named Tala. I work from home and am in and out a bit during the day but mostly in! I get my exercise by walking Tala and know that she would love to have a friend to take walks and play around in the backyard with. Scott He works most of the day but loves adventurous hikes through Oakland Hill trails on weekends. Gizmo She's an awesome 12 year old who's earning her keep by feeding Tala and playing with her in the back yard. Why I love dog sitting I'm definitely a dog person. Having another dog around is nice for Tala so she can have a playmate. About my yard Large, fenced yard with grass and some raised gardening beds. Some dirt for digging if they're into that.
