Lifetime animal owner experienced with all breeds/sizes/behaviors. Currently owned by a pair of very happy Jack Russell Terriers! I have fostered dogs in the home for 15 yrs and have experience in basic first aid, administering medications, as well as addressing a wide range of behavioral needs. *Foster dogs may or may not be present during your dogs stay but are always vaccinated, on preventatives, and kept separate until evaluated*

Kelly is a great all around person with amazing communication skills. She has been fostering dogs for many years. She understands them, knows how to read the dog in her care and knows what they need. If they need more exercise she will do it. Obedience she is on it. She is willing to take in unknown dogs and work with them to help them find the best home possible. She would be a great additions to Rover.
Kelly is absolutely necessary if you want your dogs well looked after. She is kind and caring and will implement any training extras to help keep your furry babies on track and well mannered. I NEVER worry about “should I check in” or “I hope everything is going ok” when my dogs are with Kelly. I know she can handle any situation that arises and IF I need to be informed, she 100% will. She doesn’t bother me on vacation with trivial questions. My dogs LOVE Kelly. Wiggle butts go into full gear as soon as they see her. They probably like her more than me to be honest. Kelly is also great with horses which has come in handy a couple of times too. I cannot recommend Kelly enough. If you know all your travel dates for the next year, go ahead and book them all with her. She’s worth it!!

My dogs enjoy a structured routine and your dog would have a routine that closely mimics their home routine as much as possible making sure that feeding, play time, and guided exercise are provided in good measure. Crates of all sizes can be provided as well as an Alcatraz kennel if needed for dogs with mild separation anxiety. Dogs must be able to be crated safely for up to 8 hours in the event of a work day. Crate and rotate options available for dogs that prefer to play solo or just need a break. Large fenced yard (5ft height) for free play. Daily walks provided for those that are able. Dogpacer treadmill available for inclement weather or just as an added activity. All vet care (vaccinations, flea & tick preventative, and deworming) must be current. My dogs are altered but intact adult dogs are accepted on a case by case basis.

Would like a heads up on any dog reactivity or anxious tendencies so that accommodations can be made to minimize contact with resident dogs or plan schedules around higher dog traffic times during walks.
A typical day
Quick access to the Luce Line Trail for on leash walks, access to 20 acres of my own off leash woods/trails/sniffing for off leash play within a 30 min drive.

Availability
Currently working daytime hours, 4 days per week. Evenings and weekends are spent training and playing with the pups! My dogs have access to the furniture but sleep in their own beds at night. Guest pups MUST be able to be crated calmly for 8 hours during a work day.
