My novice experiences with dogs can be counter-balanced with my extensive knowledge of care for many other species both exotic and domestic. I have several years of experience at my primary job as a zookeeper, working with a variety of species of exotic animals including skunks, opossums and porcupines. I have a large background of knowledge with a variety of small house pets such as cats, chinchillas, ferrets, and rabbits and other rodents; having owned some of these animals myself and taking care of these species for close friends. My Bachelors degree in animal Behavior has given me a better understanding of animals and has helped to prepare me to take on anything an animal throws at me. My compassion and love of animals crosses over all species lines and I hope to expand my knowledge and animal experiences giving the best care possible to your family friend.
