Pet care experience
My family has always had several dogs at once up until my senior year of high-school where we only had one Rott(en)weiler. I have so much love and patience for dogs and have even fostered in my adulthood. I have helped Friends of Freddy, a local dog rescue, several times with fundraisers and donations. I often dog-sit for parents and in-laws. I recently convinced the owners of my rental home to let us have a dog, and we brought home Lady, a two-year-old black and tan Chiweenie on 6/21/22! As for cats: I’ve never personally owned a cat, but my friend who I babysit for has a couple and they are no problem, and I have cat-sat for a friend once before.

Kelly B is great with my puppy. She is very reliable.
Kelly is a great person, and very caring with our dogs. When we go out of town and rely on Kelly, we have no worries about Tippy and Toto. They will be well taken care of. She feeds them at the appointed times, makes sure they have fresh water, and of course lots of love and outside playtime. We have never had any issues, Kelly has been lovingly caring for our dogs for a little over 2 years now. Thank you Kelly! You provide us peace of mind.

I am not certified in dog cpr, but I do keep up-to-date on reliable training videos online. I am skilled with gaining the trust of animals and ensuring they stay comfortable without pushing their boundaries. I talk to them as if they can understand me, but I also am firm and can discipline them if need be. I double and triple check all feeding instructions, am patient with them taking their time to go potty, and am always careful when walking on a leash that they can’t get away or bother others.

I would like to know information on breed, comfort/skiddish levels, food aggression/other aggression triggers, dietary restrictions, physical restrictions, known and previous health conditions, and blindness/deafness levels. I would also like to know how many treats a day they can have, where their favorite scratching spot is, and what silly quirks they have such as a dachshund who loves rolling around on a perfume-covered towel!
A typical day
I love to talk to the dogs and see what words/sounds they react to. If they find a stick or other interesting item, I'll use it as a toy with them. I love to play catch with the dogs or just sit on a couch and find music they respond to. Did you know there is television for dogs? My dog loves to watch videos of ducks! As for walks, I feel most comfortable sticking to the neighborhood or bringing them to a nearby park. I sunburn easily and tend to stick to shade.

I currently run a small business that I make time for on Thursdays and Saturdays. I will be starting a new job soon and am waiting for my schedule; I’m not sure how consistent or inconsistent it will be, but I will keep my Rover calendar updated!
