Pet care experience
Especially in New York City, it is so important for dogs to get outside and get some fresh air! Even as a human it is so easy to get cooped up inside the apartment. I love playing with dogs on walks and at home. I love giving them head scratches & belly rubs until their heart is content. It is so important to build a bond with the dog I am taking care of through trust and eye contact. I love when dogs want to cuddle/are a lap dog. My three year old King Charles Cavalier Penny is just like that and it is the best! I believe it is important that the dog I am caring for feels the presence of a trusted human friend.

I would love to know about the dog's energy level, exercise habits/ability prior to sitting or walking them. I have a King Charles Cavalier and love their sweet and lap dog nature. I also enjoy Mini Doodles, Golden Doodles, Bichon Frises, Cavapoos, etc. in the small/medium dog genre. I also have experience with Labrador Retrievers and Golden Retrievers.
A typical day
I love walking dogs to Central Park or Carl Schurz Park on the Upper East Side. I am also a jogger and can take your dog on 1-3 mile runs if that is something they are used to/likes to do. Fetch is a fun game for both me and the dog I am sitting for. And of course down time at the apartment is always fun.
