My name is Kelly. I am a homeowner in Lawrence, KS. I grew up on a large farm and cattle ranch. I have been taking care of animals all of my life. I have a passion for fur babies. I am partially disabled and having the opportunity to care for animals would be a life saver for me. I am an extremely passionate, loving, empathetic and compassionate individual. I currently have four cats of my own; ranging in age from 3 years to 20 years. They have their own floor so there should be no conflict of interest with having dogs in my home. I appreciate the opportunity to apply and I am very excited! I am here to love your unique and playful animal!

Kelly was wonderful with Livie. She made us feel comfortable right from the beginning. She sent us pictures of Livie which really helped us know that she was being cared for. Thanks for everything, Kelly!
Thank goodness Kelly was able to take care of my precious little pup at the last minute so I could take my family member to the hospital. She and her daughter dealt with his initial separation anxiety for at least an hour, let him nap on their couch, and took him for walks. Another positive was being able to pick him up to come back home when the hospital ordeal was over. That would not have been possible at the vet's office or the doggie day care centers after hours on the weekend. Thank you Kelly!
Kelly did a great job watching our dogs at our house for the weekend. She was good with keeping in contact by texting messages and pictures. She will take great care of your dogs with compassion.
Kelly is one of the most compassionate and caring people I know, she grew up on a farm and is great with animals, especially dogs.

I have no breed preferences just no violent dogs however I have sat for Stafford Shire Terriors before and we got a long great! Also, larger dogs with high energy, such as labs would not be a good fit for me.
