I've grown up on a small farm in Chesapeake with lots of animals; goats, chickens, sheep, turkeys, rabbits and of course, dogs! I now have an 8 year old Australian Shepherd. She's happiest trotting in the mountains and woods with me and exploring her favorite smells. We are a regular now at Oak Grove Lake Park. I enjoy walking dogs and helping them to be the best dog that they can be! I'm available dawn to dusk most weekdays. I know that a well excercised dog, physically and mentally, is a well behaved dog. I've seen how people "walk" their dog while on the phone or otherwise occupied and it makes me sad the dog isn't getting the attention he/she deserves. When I'm with a dog, they have my undivided attention. I love when dogs look up at me, make eye contact and smile with all their might.
