Pet care experience
I've always loved pets and have lots of love to give them! In the past year I've gone from working full time with 3 dogs of my own to working from home part time with one dog and we need friends! During my previous career I produced two different pet series for local tv and was constantly amazed by peoples "best friends". My profile photo is from an SPCA fundraiser where I was "locked in for love" to fundraiser for homeless pets. I work for myself now doing video production and photography. Working from home is great, but I'm a bit like my dog and require frequent outdoor breaks. We live near cable bay trail with a large yard that backs onto water 8 months of the year. Though the trail is off leash we would be doing it on leash. My dog is super friendly and so is my cat, unfortunately my cat thinks all dogs are friendly, and would wait there to be attacked so it's really important that we only bring cat friendly dogs into out home. Awesome!!
Kelly was great! She picked Tucker up an brought him home and he had a great time there. I’m sure he had way more fun than he does at home! The pictures she sent were a great relief to know that he was having fun. I will be using Kelly again the next time I need to go out of town!
While on vacation we left our 1.5 year old Bernedoodle, Crush, for the day with Kelly. Crush had a great time! She has a good size all fenced in yard for the dogs to play in. Kelly took such great care of him! Thank you Kelly!

A typical day
We just hope to give a dog a home away from home experience. I know my dog is not 100% when I’m away and so I do my best to give your dog lots of love and fun and hope they don’t miss you too much. We like walking Cable Bay Trail, Cedar by the Sea and Nanaimo River. Our fenced yard backs onto our deck and into our home. The dogs usually like to just be with me if I’m inside or out. My girl Lisa is a very sweet 9 year old pit bull. She has been around little dogs, big dogs, she’s gets along with them all. She can be barky and protective when people first come to our home, but she quickly become becomes friends. We like to play outside and go for walks as well as cuddle up inside. Lisa was one of 4 dogs in our pack and now she's just one and we've got lots of love to share.
