Hi my name is Kellie I live in Taunton with my 2 Daxie girls, cats and Tortoises. I have a lifetime of experience with a range of animals from chickens to horses. I’m passionate to give any animal 100% care. Over the years I’ve helped neighbours, friends and family. Recently my Passion are my two little dachshunds Mabel and Millie, half sisters who love to go for walks take long naps in a sunny spot and of course lots of cuddles on a warm lap. courses - pet first aid & pet sitting & Dog walking diploma, Pet Psychology Diploma. DBS cleared. Insured Apple airtag for extra security protection ( owners approval) Have 2 Dachshunds, 2cat, 2 tortoises. Bought up with large dogs, horses, cats, sheep, chickens.

Kellie was absolutely awesome with our dog Monty. She was quick to reply with our dog sitting request and wanted to meet with Monty beforehand to go through everything. On the day, she arrived on time and took such good care of him, following his schedule, playing with him and giving him lots of fuss and attention. We got regular updates throughout and I felt completely at ease knowing he was being well taken care of. I will definitely be using Kellie again.
Kellie has truly been amazing! From our initial pre meet to her having my 2 for day care we have been fully informed and kept upto date from the booking to her having them. The booking system was straight forward, and it was lovely to meet Kellie her family of sausages Mabel and Millie and her lovely family. I instantly felt reassured that my two sausages would be cared for to the highest of standard! My little sausage Maggie is quite nervous, Kellie listened and addressed any questions I had. Kellie is calm and caring around them, and you can see her true passion for the breed! She understands their quirky ways, and made sure they had the best experience possible. Kellie kept me updated and sent me pictures and videos which was lovely to see how settled they were with her and Mabel and Millie! I would 100% recommend Kellie at Dixie Barkers! My two are home and sleeping like babies after a fun filled day 🩷💙🐶🐶
Daxies Barkers, Kellie may be new to helping you with your special family members but she is not new to caring for all kinds of pets and livestock. Kellie has an amazing home and garden layout that will see her boarders have lots of fun and freedom. She is also located near to even more paths and bridleways where her guests can be exercised safely. So never a dull moment. Kellie is happy to provide daily feedback and photo's, she is a confident, competent and natural handler. You are encouraged to book an initial meet and greet and also a test day/night to make sure you are both a good fit for the required stay.
Kellie looked after my cat Daisy yesterday couldn’t thank her enough. We did a meet before hand, with her two gorgeous sausage dogs & Daisy loved it. By end of the day, they was all snuggled up together. Highly recommend! A little family run business in the gorgeous countryside!

I live in a countryside with footpaths on hand with lots of walks to offer (short or a long walk) I also have a large fenced back garden for dogs to run freely and have fun. Inside we offer a quiet area to have a nap or many comfy spots around the home to relax in the sun. Walks will be on retractable leads even with the best recall, I take safety while on a walk seriously. In the countryside we have livestock and wildlife to take care of.

A typical day
We will play in Mabel & Millie in the garden before having a little morning walk in the sun, then lunchtime we will go and find a Cosy spot for a little snooze. Lots of play and cuddles are always on offer.
