Hello there! I am a mature 30 year old and a professional dog groomer for almost 9 years now -- I have worked with all kinds of dogs, big or small! I am glad to say I am very familiar with their behavior :) Animals are one of my passions. I was always raised with various of pets and owed some dogs, cats, ferrets, bearded dragon, and even sugar gliders, you name it! I attended the Vet Tech Program at Joliet Junior College for one semester with experiences of being around farm animals, domestic pets, and worked in an animal clinic setting a few times. I decided not to pursue further into the Vet Tech as I wanted to focus my career as a dog groomer. I have two small dogs, Loba (7) pom/terr mix and Alfie (6) yorkie. Meet and greet prior boarding is a must for our dogs to be introduced and to determine their comfort level. My dogs are generally friendly but at the same time, a little leary with other dogs. They take a few minutes to warm up at first then they are settled in. The house is split leveled and have plenty of space to seperate the dogs if your dog need a break or personal space to relax on the main floor. Even have the guest room to use if necessary! I do work full time. My schedule depends on groom appointments with the clients -- some days I work all day from 830am - 6pm, with possible breaks which can range from 30 mins to few hours in between appointments. Other days I work only few hours and be home early. It varies. Bright side I live 7 minutes away from work! I can def come home to check in and go back to work in no time at all. My live-in boyfriend, Jatniel, will be helping as well, he is home every Sunday & Wednesdays. He works but goes into work later in the mornings and usually comes home after I am home in the evenings. He is one big dog lover. Oh in addition, If you would like to request some basic grooming on your pets such as nail trim/grinding, brushing, simple trim up around the eyes, sanitary, paw pads -- I'd be more than glad to do it as long as your pets are updated on vaccinations! Nothing better than doing the services while they are boarding and at the pet's comfort! Price to be estimated depending on your request.
