Kamp Kelli - A healthy, happy acre

Pet care experience

I've had dogs since I was a baby and my first job at 16 was at a boarding kennel for pets and hunting dogs. I originally went to school to be a veterinarian, even though that dream died, my love for dogs hasn't. I work full time in the medical device industry and I primarily work from home. I have experience watching numerous breeds - labs, spaniels, bulldogs, greyhounds, mutts! I have no dogs of my own, so if your dog needs a quiet place to stay while you vacay - look no further.

Kelli was amazing! She was very friendly, professional and very adaptable. When I needed her to add an extra day to my already scheduled time frame, she accommodated me with no problems. Kelli sent me pictures and updates throughout my time away from my pups, which was so appreciated. My doggos seemed to really enjoy their time at Kelli's. Would highly recommend and will most definitely use her again!

Kelli is a fantastic dog sitter. My dog got multiple walks per day (more than she gets at home) and plenty of cuddle time. Would definitely recommend Kelli!

Loved the photos and the stories and all the adventures Spice had while we were gone. Kelli did a great job and Spice really loves his Auntie Kelli!! We will definitely be using her again in the future if she has spots available!

Information Kelli G. would like to know about your pet

I need to know: Is your dog social? Does your dog tolerate men? (My husband obviously lives with me.) Does your dog have special needs? Can your dog handle stairs and non carpeted floors? (Senior dogs beware. But if a small dog, I can carry up the stairs.) Is your dog kennel trained? Is your dog up to date on vaccinations? Flea and tick preventative? What level of training does your dog have? What healthy habits/routines do you have at home that you would like me to keep up on during your dog's stay? Who would you like me to contact in case of emergency? Who is your veterinarian? What is their contact info? Is there anything your dog is scared of or reacts to? (Storms? Fireworks? Gun shot noises? Etc.) How long can the dog be left alone if I have to run an errand?

A typical day

It depends on the dog and its interests. As examples - We have an acre to explore - lots of critter smells to check out which can be mentally stimulating! We also spend a lot of time on Rush Lake in the summer, so if your dog loves the lake - there is plenty of exercise to be had swimming! If your dog is social, we often hang out with our brother's bulldog, Otis who loves to play! If your dog enjoys jogging, I'm into fitness and we'll go for a nice jog!
