Pet care experience
ONLY ABLE TO SIT IN THE OWNER'S HOME! I spent three months driving across the country and was able to house and dog sit along the way. I took care of people's homes and four-legged family members in Austin, TX, Lexington, KY, Milledgeville, GA, and Orlando, FL. I have included a couple of reviews from my cross-country road trip in the pictures section of my profile. I also spent two years house and dog-sitting while living in Boise, ID and those reviews can be seen on my profile.

Kelley was absolutely fantastic when she stayed with our Ellie Rose this past week. We couldn't have had a better experience. We won't hesitate to have her back again.
Kelley was amazing! She loved on my two shepherds in my home. I could tell the stay went well as both dogs were very content when I returned home. Kelley was prompt responding to messages and sent great pics of the dogs while I was away. My long-haired shepherd looked gorgeous when I arrived home - Kelley spent time (and I know it takes time!) brushing her out. The house was sparkling and neat when I returned as well. Will definitely have Kelley back when I need someone to watch Mya and Tanner. Highly recommend!

I am actually a big fan of keeping dogs in their own environment while their owners are away, so dog sitting in their home is my ideal situation. I follow the house rules (I never touch the thermostat!), I keep the home neat and tidy and make sure that I stick with the routine/schedule that the pets are used to in order to alleviate any potential separation anxiety.

A typical day
This is totally up to the comfort level of the owners and the pets themselves. I am up for walks, playing at the park, going on car rides, etc. However, I have had owners and pups who are not comfortable with me taking them in my car, for example, which is absolutely fine. I just want everyone to feel comfortable with the experience.

Availability
I am currently working full-time, but it is a hybrid position with Providence in communications. I spend half my week on-site and the other half is spent working from home.
