I have countless years of experience with many breeds of cats and dogs. I am an animal lover. Sadly, I had to put down my beloved 17 1/2 year old golden retriever last year. Average life expectancy is 11-12 years, so I must have been doing something right! I have cats, a turtle that I found outside as a baby and a leopard gecko. I've always had a passion and fondness of all animals even when I was little. I knew I either wanted to be a veterinarian or a nurse. So, I became a registered nurse. I love all kinds of animals and have a lot of experience with nurturing, caring and rehabilitation of many breeds including rescuing cats, baby wild birds, seagulls, and turtles. For years I fostered mother cats and their kittens so that they could grow up in a loving home rather than a shelter which I volunteer at. I have experience with medication administration of cats and dogs, caring of diabetic cats and insulin injections. I'll care for your animals like they were my own! I have a 13 year old son who is just thrilled when there is a dog staying with us. I only work part-time 3-4 hour increments a day so your dog will not be left alone any more than 4 hours at a time! I’m very active so daily walks, hikes, car rides, play dates and dog park will keep your dog active and having a great time for the both of us!
