I’m 56 years old and have had dogs for as long as I can remember. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have pets, honestly. I grew up with dogs, cats, chickens, cows, horses, and even a hamster once :) Our furry family members deserve great care and lots of love, as they take great care of us and give lots of love in return. A little about me, I’m a former English teacher who, before Covid, volunteered with a major airline flying rescues to their forever homes. I have three grown children and enjoy long walks with my hubby and two long-haired daschunds.

This is my 2nd time using Kelley to watch my kitty during the holidays. She came on Thanksgiving day and new years day! She’s always promptly on time and sends lots of pics. I will be using her for all my future visits as her calendar allows. Thanks Kelley!
Kelley is an excellent pet caregiver! I have three cats and they took to her immediately. Kelley sent me pics of my babies while I was away and made sure they had everything they needed. I don’t have pets, but If I did, I would completely trust Kelley to care for them! She is honest, prompt, efficient, and friendly. She honors her commitments and has plenty of experience with dogs and all their needs. If you choose her to care for your fur baby, you will certainly be a satisfied client!

Let me know if you have a dog with special needs. I have had personal experience caring for one and am comfortable with administering medications, both orally and by injection.
A typical day
First and foremost, I want to give your pet reassurance and a feeling of safety while I’m there. I want him/her to know that I’m a friend and to feel comfortable and happy when he/she sees me arrive. I want to provide the level of care that I expect for my two loves. I will send videos and pictures during my visit and am happy texting updates, too. During the Meet and Greet, please let me know what is important to you and what your dog especially enjoys- playing ball, chasing a frisbee, special treats, etc.

Availability
I work part time outside the home, so I am somewhat flexible with my schedule. The more advance notice I’m given, the better flexibility I have. I am also available seven days a week.
