Animal Science Pet Sitter!

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Kelley and I am an animal care associate at the Humane Society of Chittenden County! I graduated from UVM in 2023 with a degree in animal science and am also fear free certified. I am an absolute animal lover and have lots of professional experience with companion animals. I have even worked in a veterinary office! I have also had many pets of my own including dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I have experience with reptiles and amphibians from volunteering at the ECHO center, as an animal care volunteer! I offer pet sitting, boarding and dog walking services. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or are seeking referrals :). I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your lovely pet! I am fully committed to ensuring the safety and care of any pet in either my home or a client's home. Communication is something I really value and I want to make sure your pets needs are always met, when in my care! Some things I have experience with include: -dog reactive dogs -resource guarding -fearful dogs -high energy dogs -administering medications -small animal and reptile care

Kelley is so sweet with our buddy. She sent great pictures and was very communicative. We will be using her expert services again!

Kelley was awesome with my pup and was a great communicator through the length of his stay. Reassuring me that I chose the right sitter for my visit to Burlington!

Kelley is fantastic!! She took our pup out for an active day, sent lots of pictures, and tired her right out. We will absolutely be using Kelley in the future, and highly recommend her :)

A typical day

In a typical day, we will start off with lots of pets and a yummy breakfast ! Then a nice long walk will be our next activity (either downtown or somewhere more remote depending on their needs). I will spend most of my day playing with your dog and making sure they are comfortable in my home! I plan on walking your dog 3-4 times per day (I love long walks!), but this can be adjusted if need be.
