I’ll treat your dog like royalty!
Pet care experience
I have over 15 years experience with my own dogs & dog sitting for others. I also worked full-time for a doggy daycare in the past. I can drive your pet to vet or grooming appointments & provide pick-up & drop-off services for an extra fee. I am comfortable giving meds, caring for dogs of all ages, & giving your dog plenty of exercise, playtime, & cuddles. You’ll know your dog is being well cared for from the photos & videos I’ll send you daily. “My dog LOVES staying with you!” & “It’s WAY better for my dog to stay with you than be stressed while boarded at a loud boarding facility” are things I hear a lot after taking care of others’ dogs.
Reviews
Couldn’t be happier! We had a terrific experience with Kelley. We came to town for a football game and thankfully found Kelley to watch our American Bully so she could come with us. We wish Kelley lived in our town so we could use her more.
Kelley is a kind-spirited lady, who loves all dogs! With my last minute work plans, she was able to work around her schedule to watch my puppy Koda! Upon first meeting Kelley, you can see how much she adores the job she does, and truly takes the best care of the puppies and dogs she watches. Koda had an amazing time with Kelley from the pictures she sent me, and she took time out of her day to play with him. I will definitely be going back to Kelley, and would recommend her to anyone and everyone!
Kelley is far and away the best dog sitter I’ve ever had. I left my dog with her for a long weekend and had absolutely no worries that he was safe and happy! I appreciated the updates and pictures from Kelley throughout, and it was clear my dog was so happy! I highly recommend Kelley, she is great and genuinely loves dogs.
Kelley was such a kind person that put me at ease when taking care of Nala. We got updates throughout the day and came home to a tired, well taken care of puppy. I definitely would recommend Kelley to anyone looking for a quality, caring dog sitter.

I have a fenced yard. I have no pets or kids, so your dog will have 100% of my attention. I only accept pets from one household at a time. Your dog is welcome anywhere in the house, on furniture and my bed, or I can crate him/her if that’s what you prefer.

Information Kelley A. would like to know about your pet
Feeding: How much and how often? Any allergies or sensitivities? If they are slow to eat, what does the owner usually do to get them to eat? Are they allowed treats? If so, what kind? Does the dog have any special feeding needs? Behavioral: How would you describe his "typical" behavior and energy level? What does he do or not do when he doesn't feel well? How would I know if your dog is anxious or stressed--meaning is there anything unique I should be on the lookout for? How does your dog interact with other dogs? Cats? Strangers? Medications: What and how often? How do you administer it (in a pill treat, piece of cheese, peanut butter)? Are there any side effects I should be on the lookout for? Emergency/vet contact information? What's Normal?: How far and how often do you normally walk the dog? How often does the dog normally have a bowel movement (1/day, 2/day) and how would you describe what it looks like (loose and runny or solid like a tootsie roll)? Have there been any changes in the last few days? Are there any rules you have in your home that you would like me to enforce in my home too (staying off furniture/bed, crating when I'm gone, no jumping, etc.)? Are there any specific training needs you would like me to practice with your pet (work on recall, sit, sit and stay, etc.)? Final question: Is there anything we have not discussed that you think is important for me to know to take the best care of your pet? While I am not certified in dog first aid, I do have books on the topic and have had to help my own dogs (recognized swelling due to a spider bite and gave Benadryl, checked and changed dressings after surgeries, monitored a dog with heart issues and one with head tremors (which I also figured out how to get the tremors to stop).
A typical day
I will play whatever is the dog's favorite activity: fetch, frisbee, tug. I also have some brainteaser games to engage the dog's brain, not just the body. I like to go for walks around my neighborhood if caring for the dog at my house or I go to Clay County Park for longer walks on nature trails. I have several toys most dogs like, but feel free to send his/her favorites. I also have a fun water sprinkler the dog can play with in the hot summer months if they like to play with water/hoses. If the dog likes it, I will give him/her a massage with gloves that also brush his/her coat at the same time.

Availability
I am self-employed and work out of my home, so I am home nearly all day several days of the week. If I have to leave the house for an appointment or meeting, I can crate your dog or let it roam the house if that’s what you prefer. I never leave a dog for more than 3-4 hours at a time. I am available during the week and on the weekends.
