I grew up in a very dog-active family and neighborhood my entire life. Since my youth, my family has owned a female German Shepherd, a male Cocker Spaniel, and currently we have another female German Shepherd. Outside of dogs, I've kept everything from temporary stray cats (until I found them a home), rats, and several aquariums. I've been dog sitting my for friends and family since I was old enough to handle a large breed on my own. Since joining Rover, I've had various sitting jobs with loyal pet owners who have requested my services over and over. I've sat everything from pits, poodles, and puggles. I have no breed discrimination whatsoever and welcome dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I have one dog-loving roommate and her chill cat Kona lives with us. Kona grew up with a massive black lab and is very comfortable around dogs. Our house is not fenced but we live really close to a city park that has been a great place to walk dogs in the morning/evening. I live about a mile from work so stopping mid day is no problem. On a normal day/weekend your pet will never spend more than 3-4 hours alone. I just returned from a 6 months solo adventure and working to get my Rover back up and running!
