I hired Kellane to housesit for my special-needs/semi-famous dog and my three rescue cats. Kellane is my niece and I did not hire her through Rover, but I paid her. She does not know my animals as she has been in college and then overseas, but I know her. I know her love for animals. I know her honesty and sincerity. I cannot leave my animals, especially the dog, with just anybody. But I had no fear about leaving them with her and was so happy and relieved when she told me she was available for 8 days. She stayed in my home, which is in a semi-remote area and all went well. Although I am a worrier, I did not worry one second about them being with her. She even posted to our Facebook page. Kellane was great! She kept my Golden while I was out of the country for a week, and even evacuated Cooper with her when Hurricane Florence threatened Charleston. She will really love your pet like its her own.
