Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Keith, and I live in Fishtown. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. I'm an easygoing and down-to-earth friend of animals and humans. Growing up on a farm, I found a fondness for caring for animals which has followed me throughout my life. I've taken care of many pets throughout my life from dogs, cats, cattle, chickens, and so on! I've had great experiences walking dogs at shelters as a volunteer. I have experience administering medications, and working with senior dogs, as well as the little ones just entering this world. I no longer have a pet of my own, and sadly had to help him over the rainbow bridge in the summer of 2022. At this point in my life, it is a gift to help others with their pet care. I look forward to meeting you and your pet.

Keith was wonderful! Very communicative and great with my older dogs. He was very communicative and I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs with him.
Kieth connected with our dogs right away. We felt completely comfortable heading off for the holiday. Great communication while we were away and a full report when we returned sealed the deal. Kieth is our new go to sitter!
Keith was absolutely wonderful with our Tex. Leaving Tex can be difficult, as he is a pretty anxious little guy. Keith came prepared for a meet and greet ahead of time, and left us feeling so much more at ease. Because of Tex’s reactivity, we always leave it as optional to walk him and just let him out back instead, but Keith walked him frequently. Tex was clearly well taken care of when we got home. Thank you Keith!
Keith is the absolute best dog sitter and is just a super friendly and nice person. He watched our two pups overnight on our wedding day, and we knew it was one less thing we had to worry about on our big day. It was easy to see how much Keith genuinely loves dogs from the second he walked in the door. He knows what questions to ask and makes sure he knows your pets tendencies, routines and any special needs they may require. Keith even went as far as giving us a detailed report of the stay. We plan to use him for all our future dog sitting needs.

Each pet is unique and has different needs and routines. I will tailor my approach according to your guidelines.

Important information for me to know from the beginning is medical concerns, aggression level toward humans and other animals, and other pets in your household that may need caring for. All other details will be discussed during my initial intake process.
A typical day
Each pet requires different types of attention and stimulation. I rely on the pet parent to provide guidelines such as energy level, places they prefer to visit, and types of play they enjoy such as fetch, searching for toys, games, TV, massages, etc. In my experience, animals love nature, so if possible I prefer to walk them around parks and water.

Availability
I'm generally available on weekdays early morning for walks or drop-ins. Friday, Sat, Sun available pretty much anytime for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays. My job during the week allows for evening walks between 6:30 and 7:30 AM and evenings between 5 and 9 PM. Feel free to reach out, I'm happy to discuss your needs and make adjustments where I can. If you are seeking longer stays, I'm happy to discuss to see if we can work out the schedule.
