Expert care for animals.
Pet care experience
I like to deeply connect collaboratively with my animal clients, and provide their owners with the peace of mind that their property and furry family members are in perfectly capable hands. Since beginning my foray into the pet care industry in Seattle in 2008 I have been on a continuous journey of gaining greater understanding of the health and psychology of animals. I am highly detail oriented and dependable. I am well-versed in the handling of sensitive and private materials. I am a longtime veteran of the human resources, hospitality, and medical industries. I strive to provide exemplary, exceptionally personalized services. I work to first allow animals to observe that I am a trusted person to their principle caretaker(s) before taking on that role myself in your absence. I leave the living spaces of my clients precisely as outlined in the instructions they provide to me. I am the proud pet parent of a Pomeranian/Shih Tzu mix named Mogwai and mini-Poodle/Chihuahua mix named Adore.

Thanks for keeping our fur babies safe and entertaining them during our absence. Lonnie always does a fantastic job. Very communicatively and loves to send pics and videos which we love also. He also cares for our fish and birds as well and can do any number of things you might need done. I can't say enough good things about him. He's on time, our pets love him and we've hired him numerous times and will again. Thanks again Lonnie!
I love the pictures he takes while on their walks!
Lonnie always does a "perfect" job with our babies and genuinely loves animals of all kinds. We have used Lonnie many times and he's never disappointed us in any way. He's very easy to work with and is very accommodating. Thanks again for giving us peace of mind while we're out of town Lonnie. <3
Don’t know what we would do without Lonnie! Lily LOVES her walks!

I provide regular updates, including texts and/or written visit summaries. I am very detailed in the information I gather as I prepare to provide services. A few service and billing specifics: When providing care for animals in my home, there is a limit of 2 pets (besides mine) at any given time. I must require all the same documentation as a groomer like Pet Palace in order to host client pets. I also provide pet sitting services outside of my home so may not be home full time. I work with my clients pertaining to scheduling so as to ensure all of our furry family members receive the care they need, whenever they need it. From basics like keeping the water bowl full to administering medications. All possible effort will be to adhere to a window of up to 30-60 minutes of target visit time, and genuine care will be taken to ensure your pet is given the full visit length requested. Medical needs will always be strongly prioritized. In the event that purchases must be made on your behalf, they will first be discussed with and approved by you and then billed as straightforward service fees along with receipts. Conservation will always be my goal while adhering to your specific care instructions. Any remaining supplies will be sent home with your pet(s). Excluding extenuating/unforeseeable circumstances: mileage accrued in relation to booked pet care, in excess of 30 miles from my home and back upon conclusion of a scheduled job, will be billed at a rate of 35 cents per mile. Gratuities are never required nor expected, but are greatly appreciated.

Information Keith “Lonnie” M. would like to know about your pet
Whether or not they are aggressive and/or destructive. Locations of important materials such as food, clean water, and any necessary medications. Instructions regarding any specific handling/care needs.
A typical day
If your pup gets along with mine, they can have a ball at the park! I love to hike, so walks around places like Lake Vesuvius are a distinct possibility. Or we can take walks around your neighborhood. I am a longtime advocate of positive reinforcement training and love to stimulate an animal’s mind. Its all about understanding and cooperation! I strive to perform services to your exact specifications while having a wonderful time with your beloved furry family member(s).
