I have many years experience pet sitting. From rowdy puppies to sedate seniors, I thoughtfully consider their care. I conduct a no charge meet and greet to see if it will be a fit for all involved. It has been my experience that every dog has a different set point for their comfort and pleasure, and I am intuitive about "where they are at". I lean into maintaining the dog's routine, supporting the dog with what is comfortable and familiar. We certainly have fun, and I try not to confuse them while you are absent. I adore, admire and respect dogs. I am comfortable with giant, assertive, intact males, passive Doodles to Teacup Poodles, I get dogs, dogs get me. K9s are family members, regardless of temperament, and I respect their place. If they routinely sleep in the bed, they will sleep with me. If your preference is that they remain off the furniture, no problem. I am playful and tactile with the dogs. I love the walks and play time in the park as much as reading with the dog in my lap. I worked in a grooming shop for years, so a bath after a fun day in the mud is easily accommodated. References are available upon request.
