My wife and I have a 2lb chihuahua we have had for 5 years! My wife Raquel has had a dog for the majority of her life so caring for dogs is something that comes naturally for her. We have two kids as well so busy is our pace and keeping dogs busy is a breeze for us! Our sister in law, who does not live with us, has a 2 year old husky who we sometimes watch as well. She keeps us on our toes for sure too! Recently we acquired a young cat that does well with dogs also! He loves our small dog and sometimes likes to visit with my sister in law's husky, kiska! Overall, we have a very pet friendly household
