Pet care experience
I was a professional dog walker in Chicago for 5 years (till I moved to the west). I co-ran a cat rescue in LA for 3 years. I've lived with dogs and cats for decades. Moving forward, the only fur-babies in the apartment are those of others. I pay attention to the info our pets give us. Friends think this makes me a whisperer. I disagree. I think everyone can do this.

I had used Keith as a pet sitter for my dogs and cats many many times until he moved out of state. I have even scheduled the trip I take around him being back in town so I can use him as my pet sitter. He is great with my pets and they love him. He can handle any pet situation.

Because I live in an apartment, we will take 20-45 minute walks every 2-4 hours. I will brush them, be attentive to them, play with them (best part of the job) and happily accommodate whatever needs you and your pet(s), have.

How energetic are they? Do they get along with other dogs they're boarded with? Are they incontinent? Is it safe to let them meet strange dogs on the street? Are there medications to administer? Are there dietary restrictions (other than grapes and chocolate).
A typical day
Walking/running away from traffic goes without saying. Inside frolicking is a must! You can expect me to lie on the floor with them to put them at ease. Lots of butt scratching and paying attention to their signals to us!

I'm working part-time. Caring well for your pets...that's the easiest part of my day. I can help reinforce training (s)he's had. We'll go to nearby fields to blow out the cobwebs. Always on leash unless the area is enclosed
