Hi! My name is Keira, and I’ve been caring for animals of all kinds my entire life. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Health and Behavior and currently work as an animal caretaker at my local nature center. I have hands-on experience with everything from daily pet care to administering medications when needed. Whether you’re looking for someone reliable, knowledgeable, or just someone who genuinely loves animals—I’m here to help. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority! I have my own pets as well including a dog, cats, bird, chickens, gerbil, etc. I have some experience in grooming and training if you would like any extra services let me know!

At an owners house I would ask the pet parent what they think would be best but at my own house I have a big backyard to play with any dogs in my care (leashed or off leash). Any food provided will be fed by instruction and if medicine is needed to be given I can assist with that as well. Always fresh water nearby for any fur baby in my care.

A typical day
I can provide lots of enrichment through toys, playing, puzzles, lick mats, etc. if your dog knows fetch I can also throw a fair amount! Just let me know what your dog and you prefer!

Availability
I currently work part time at my local nature center 9am-2pm, 4 out of 7 days a week. Not long hours so I am able to walk dogs earlier and right after work. Or come back after work to pet sit if needed.
