I am Level 3 qualified in Animal Care, which provided me with in depth knowledge of husbandry and welfare. I also have a domestic animal first aid qualification, and a good basic education in healthcare and triage skills for cats, dogs and small pets. I have worked in both daycare centre and animal shelters with a range of breeds and species from great danes to bunnies to kittens! At home, I own a 4 year old staffie x greyhound (a literal handful at 35kg!), a 17 year old collie x whippet, a senior special needs cat, and a gaggle of lizards, rodents and creepy crawlies. For me, no breed or need is too difficult to care for! I am extremely passionate about animals, and genuinely enjoy creating safe, comfortable and positive experiences for the pets under my care in previous work placements. I am working towards my degree in Animal Behaviour, and am very confident working with behavioral and welfare needs of pets with reactivity, training requirements or medical complications.
