I've been taking care of people's pets for years, starting back when I was a teenager. I've done it all—overnight to multi-week stays, drop-ins, and walks. I've handled all sorts of pets, from tiny to big, young to old, and I love them all- chickens, rodents, small or large dogs, even a 25-year-old medically high maintenance cat. As a vegetarian, I have a huge soft spot for animals, and hanging out with them feels like second nature. I'm all about showing love and care because pets truly are family, and one of the best things in this world! I am more than happy to provide references at any time. I have a spotless record—I'm dependable, neat, and respectful. I have a general rule to leave any space better than I left it. Anything important that I should know such as medical conditions, where food/medicine is located and how/when to administer, and what your pet’s personality is like. It’s important to know what your dog enjoys, how to act I.e. approaching them slowly at first if they are anxious, and things like that
A typical day
It all depends on the pet’s personality! I have watched senior pets that just want to cuddle, so we will get cozy and watch tv and cuddle. I have also watched pets who love car rides and adventures, and we will do activities such as driving to the park! It all just depends on the pet’s and your needs and preferences.

Availability
I work a hybrid schedule, meaning I work remotely on some days and go into my office on other days. I am home all day on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and am home in the evenings on the remaining days. On Wednesdays and Thursdays I typically work using my laptop, but the hours are flexible.
