Pet care experience
I’m a serial long-term pet sitter, and finally trying out Rover! Our family- myself, and 6.5 year old son & 3.5 year old daughter- are huge animal fans! I’ve owned dogs, cats, fish, and lizards myself and we currently have one sweet Syrian hamster, Faris. I am the go-to pet sitter for several family members, friends, and neighbors. We have had pets stay with us for the 3 out of 4 weeks in a month before, and one “temporary” senior kitty stay during a friends’ move turned into a very loving permanent home for the last several years of her life. So, long term & frequent stays are A-OK… your pet will be cared for like part of the family. I am comfortable caring for farm/hobby farm animals at your home as well. I’ve lived in my side-by-side duplex for over 8 years, and our screened back porch and yard are shared spaces with my neighbor Sally who has lived here even longer than I. Sally has a very sweet but somewhat skittish cat who loves to sun on the screened porch, and will bolt as soon as someone comes outside, so dogs with strong prey drive might not be a good fit for stays at our house, but could be a great fit for care in your home, walks, etc. She’s friendly once she gets used to you (human or animal), but there would likely be little interaction, and I don’t leave others’ pets alone with Sally’s cat (if we’re hanging out on the screened porch, I’m there). We do have an enclosed, fenced backyard, but along one side is 6ft deer netting, and on two sides is 4ft chain link with shrubbery, so would not be 100% secure for diggers/chewers on the netting side or high jumpers on the link sides. That said, I would not be letting your pup hang outside alone anyways (I love to play, too!). Additionally, I live in a very walkable neighborhood- we have lots of friendly neighbors out walking their dogs & I love to bring our visitors for walks down to the dog-friendly playground park, the off-season soccer fields, the marsh trails, the beach, or if your pup is ok with car rides we could venture to one of the other great dog parks or dog friendly trails nearby. Let me know your pup’s preferences and favorite places, and we’ll have a ball! I’ve found that many of our kitty visitors prefer to stay in my bedroom for most of their stay, and I’m happy to accommodate that. Or, if you have more of a lap-cat who likes to stick right with his/her people, I have a flexible work from home job and love the snuggles. Other types of animals welcome. Im happy to provide medicines and such for special needs pets, as well (my son has T1D, so needles don’t scare me if that’s part of your pet’s care). One thing that probably doesn’t need saying, but just in case- because I do have two small children, I won’t be able to care for pets with aggression, including fear aggression. I may be able to be flexible on the number of pets in my home depending on your pets, and in caring for pets in your home I don’t have a limit to how many I can care for there (each pet does count separately). I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
Reviews
Belle really enjoyed her time with Keely and we will certainly be using her again!
Our dog had so much fun at Keely's home. Her home was perfect for our golden retriever who got so much love and attention. I will be calling Keely again for sure.

Keely is an amazing person, friend, mom, dog-friend! She is great with animals and grew up with dogs- we’ve left our dog with her and she has taken great care of him. I would 100% recommend her to watch your pet- she has a heart of gold!

I mentioned most of this in the “experience” section, so please do read that whole section. Basically, I have a lot of flexibility and can adapt to most pet care needs. Because I have two small children, I will not be able to accommodate pets with aggression/fear aggression in my home, and would need to be made aware of this if I’d be caring for your pet in your home. I can work with individuals on daycare hours, and I’d typically plan on 30min-1hr for walks or stopping at your house for pop-in care (cats & other pets too, so they can get some playtime in!). For longer pop-ins, message me and we can work out how to bill depending on your needs. Outside of boarding, if I am coming to your home I may need to bring one or both of my kids with me if it’s outside of school hours/schedule. This would be communicated to you, and they would never be allowed out of my sight in those cases. If you have any questions, always feel free to ask. I like to send pictures, but don’t like to spam folks with pictures (but you can always ask me to spam you with pics)!

Information Keely M. would like to know about your pet
I cannot accommodate dogs with aggression/fear aggression as I have small children. For services inside my home, dogs with strong prey drive may not be a good fit as I have a hamster (in a tank style enclosure) & a neighbor with a shared screened porch who has a cat who likes to sun on the screened porch.
A typical day
-walks/hikes on marsh trails, beach, dog friendly hikes nearby (usually one of these or a longer dog park visit per day) -dog parks if your doggo is into that -room to run/fetch/explore around the fenced backyard and walking distance dog friendly parks -lots of snuggles- I’m ok with dogs on our couches or beds! -owner’s preference on treats/rawhides- always happy to accommodate!

Availability
I work a flexible job from home, so am home all day except for bringing my daughter to & from school or a breif errand. If your pup likes car rides, they’re welcome to come with! Please let me know if your pet prefers crating when no one is home for breif (think 20-30min) periods. For boarders or full day daycare, I like to make one big adventure (trail walk/hike/dog park/beach) and then add in shorter walks/playing in the yard, and can adjust based on level of activity/couch potato of your pup. I can work in this kind of schedule or shorter stints for care based from your home as well. If I’m home, your pet is likely with me! I don’t have a big house, so we spend the majority of our time in a few spaces & we’d have your pet right there with us, unless they prefer their own space.
