**NOT AVAILABLE FOR BOOKINGS RIGHT NOW** Your furry family members will be safe and pampered with me. As a long time dog lover and owner, I will treat your dogs as if they are my own. Making sure they are well exercised (in my large yard, walking around the neighborhood, or at Griffith Park - just blocks from my home), fed appropriately, and cuddled generously. Not only do I have over 25 years of personal experience as a pet owner (dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, birds), I also have a number of years of professional experience as a pet and house-sitter - entrusted to care for people’s homes and pets while they travel, often for extended periods of time. I also have experience administering medication to both cats and dogs, as well as some experience training dogs. I believe, and it’s been my experience, that dogs benefit most from positive reinforcement. So, I make it a practice to provide plenty of positive reinforcement and encouragement, as appropriate, to foster trust, respect, and for the overall wellbeing of the dog.

I have a very large fenced, grassy yard, where your dog is free to run and play. I also have a small, sweet 10-year-old dog (15 lbs) to keep your dog company.

Please let me know if there is anything specific I should be aware of about your dog - any special needs, behavioral quirks, separation anxiety, excessive barking, etc. I can only board fully vaccinated (vaccination records required for dogs under 2 years old), fully house trained, spayed/neutered dogs, who do not bark excessively or have other behavioral issues. Please note: For last minute requests (less than 24 hours notice) there will be an additional $15/day (or visit) charge. For dog boarding and daycare: If your dog has health issues that require extra care, such as medication, frequent potty breaks, etc, there is an extra $15/day charge. Dogs under 2 years old will be charged at the puppy rate: Boarding - $85/night* Day care - $70/day* *add $10 for the holiday rate For cat drop-in visits: if you are requesting that medication be administered, there may be an extra $15/visit charge, depending on the complexity. A typical day
My yard is perfect for throwing the ball around and playing fetch. I also live very close to Griffith Park, and would be happy to take your dog for hikes to burn off energy. Otherwise, my neighborhood is great for shorter walks, with lots of interesting things to smell.

I work from home, so I will be with your dog full-time throughout the day. I am available for overnight boarding on weekdays and weekends.
