I love animals!! If my husband would allow a zoo, I would have one! I am the sucker for the strays, sob stories, and shelter rescues. I dream of having my nursing home of old ladies and cranky men and then my special needs household of blind, deaf, or tri-paws. I don’t know how else to explain the joy I receive from being around animals!! I previously worked as a boarding manager of a 100+ capacity clinic. When we moved to Wichita, I just couldn’t find a position that worked for me. But I missed being around animals, so I wanted to open up my home!! I have two large goofballs of my own (lab/Pyrenees mixes) and then three spoiled felines. But we have so much room to share with you. We welcome animals of all sizes, shapes, and backgrounds into our home. If they want to lounge on the couch, run laps around the backyard, or even people watch on the culdesac. We are set up for it!! (For crying out loud, my cats have their own room...) If you are looking for a sitter that makes your pets their family, look no further! I have experience with medications, feeding protocols, bathing, and personalities. To top it all off, I am fear free certified which grants me knowledge of how to approach and interact with the nervous fur babies and how to introduce to new environments and new friends. Disclosure: I do crate ALL animals overnight (including my own) for safety reasons for all parties involved. I do not make any exceptions to this rule, so please keep in mind when booking. If you’re animals will not do well in a crate overnight, then please consider another sitter who will have them loose in the house.
