Pet care experience
I have taken care of my own dog since we got her in 2014, as well as my two kittens in the past year. I am very used to walking animals and I understand the importance of allowing all animals to become comfortable with me before I interact with them. I have job experience in a dog washing facility and have interacted closely with many dogs as I trimmed their nails. Finally, I currently dog sit for 2 separate households and have had great experiences with their dogs (2 pitbulls, 1 aussie, and 1 chocolate lab).

In one house I currently do drop-ins at, I crate her dogs when I am gone, so I am used to following her specific routine. At another house, as well as my own, I am also used to having the dogs roam around the house and not use a kennel at all. If a yard is fenced in, I feel very comfortable playing with dogs outside, as well as taking animals for walks, as long as I confirm the owners' normal routine with them before we go!

I prefer to know any behavioral issues that dogs have ahead of time, especially if they relate to other animals/specific people. I have dealt with dogs with slight aggression issues towards other animals, so I understand the importance of knowing this beforehand so I can properly assess situations.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks around their neighborhoods and playing around their backyards if fenced in. With my dog, I drive to the dog park in town and we run around out there for awhile!

I am currently interning in Denver for the summer and have very open availability! I can do early mornings or mid day very easily, and can do afternoons if needed as well.
