I grew up helping my mom foster and rescue dogs. When I got into high school I started taking on the majority of the work we did so she could focus on other things. I am highly experienced in medical attention and behavioral training. I mostly work with rescues who have come from tough situation and need a gentle hand. I also worked with dogs who needed consistent training to maintain good behavior. I can treat heartworm, burns, cuts, ringworm, hookworm, tape worm, leg amputation, skin infection and more. I also worked with my mom on her dog transport service where the safety of the dog while walking is of utmost importance. I am also experienced in pet sitting as many as 12 animals at once with various dietary restrictions and medical treatments. I have school five days a week although most of those days end early so I am able to dog sit or walk in the afternoons, I also do not mind walking between classes and my longest class is 2 hours so walking every 2 hours will be no problem. I am free all weekend including Friday because I only have on class early in the morning Friday. I can cover just the basics such as food, water, walks, and playtime. I can also care for them in medical situations and train them in basic commands and behavioral issues. I would feed either once or twice a day depending on the owner's preference, I will check the water often to ensure it is full and clean, and I will walk a minimum of three times a day although more is preferable for me. If I am not staying over and am just popping in and out I will make my stays longer to give them playtime and pets if that is what they want. I worked with skittish dogs so making sure the dog is comfortable with my movements and actions is extremally important to me. I will maintain the safety of the dog to the best of my ability. If something happens that the dog gets a wound I would offer to take it to the vet although if that if uncomfortable for you I am also experienced in treating wounds of various degrees. If in the event that the dog gets sick I can do the same either take them to the vet or treat them myself. If anything seems off I will not hesitate to call although in my experience in pet sitting things tend to go smoothly. I am highly experienced although not medically certified so in the event of an emergency which is highly unlikely I would prefer to take them to the vet.
