Pet care experience
We have been around dogs since we were born! Friends and family have relied on us to watch their loved one(s) for many years! We have owned one to two dogs at a time during the twelve years that we have been together. At this time, we do not have any kids, just a little rescue pup from Aruba, Zoe. We treat any animal in our home as if he or she is our own. We truly believe we give Zoe the best life she deserves. We introduce her to new things every day. We are happy to get dirty in the woods or at the beach, and come home tired for a bath and cuddles. We have experience with medication administration, wounds, and many other things. If your pup will be with us during feeding times, please know that all dogs are fed separately and no bowls are left out when each pup is done.

Keegan and Hunter gave Griffin our senior dog, a comfortable stay at their home while we attended a weekend wedding in their town. She followed the instructions on his medications and truly cared for him when we were not able to. Griffin returned to us rested and happy. And Keegan said she discovered the charms of Cairn Terriers after Griffin's weekend sleepover. Would trust them again in an instant.
Keegan and Hunter have watched our animals over the years. They never disappoint! They have done extended stays for our german shepard, Bosco. While Bosco was with them, they worked on his discipline and obedience. He truly came back a different dog! Bosco had high energy needs, and they met these needs with extended walks, runs, hikes, and swims each day. They were great about sending updates, pictures, and videos. We are so lucky to have them as sitters, and we know Bosco looks forward to his time with them! If you are looking for a home away from home for your animal, Keegan and Hunter are your people!
Hunter and Keegan have dog sat for our elderly 14 year old dog for 6 years now. Bindi is not a trusting dog and she absolutely loves Hunter and Keegan. Hunter and Keegan are not only super organized, but their care and compassion for Bindi as she has gotten older is amazing. Hunter and Keegan have dog sat in our home and without fail have left our house much cleaner than they found it. Bindi has also spent many nights at Hunter's and Keegan's. I trust Hunter and Keegan with Bindi more than I trust many members of our own family. If you are looking for a loving caretaker for your pet, look no further than Hunter and Keegan. I almost forgot, they took Bindi on many outings to the woods, the beach, and lots of walks. Maybe that is why she is still around at 14. I highly recommend Hunter and Keegan

We have a very friendly 3-year-old pup, Zoe. We are very active with her (hiking, swimming, mountain biking, running, walking). Your pup will be a part of our pack while he or she is with us. If you have an active dog, we will love to tire him or her out. If you have an older or more mellow pup, we will love to relax in our yard or in our home. We are strong believers that a tired pup is a good pup. Zoe is very disciplined and great with other dogs. Your pet will have access to lots of toys, a human to love on them, all while you can enjoy your time away.

We never want to be under-prepared and we never want to put a dog in a situation that makes them more stressed or uncomfortable. Again, we are strong believers in trusting our dogs - if they are showing signs of being uncomfortable, we do not want to expose a dog to those situations. We also ask that you give us your vet's information prior to arranging any care.
A typical day
We have a ton of places a short drive from our home that we frequently take pups for walks, hikes, swims, rides. Where we go for fun, our pup comes! And we look forward to sharing all of these places with your animal.

Availability
Keegan works part-time while finishing her NP degree, and Hunter works remotely. This allows for one of us to be home at all times to care to your animal's needs. We bring our pup outside every couple hours with short walks around our neighborhood and in the yard. At least once a day we get out for a hike, a ride, a run, or a dog-friendly beach trip.
