I have one professional year of experience in working with animals while I attended the Sno Isle Veterinary Assisting program in 2015. I was trained in administration of medication, proper bathing procedures, restraints and basic daily housing protocol when it comes to both dogs and cats. During my time at Sno Isle I was also given the opportunity for a five month internship at the privately owned zoo in Anacortes called Predators of the Heart. I have also completed over 100 hours of volunteer work both at Purrfect Pals Cat Shelter and at the NOAH Animal Shelter. Other than that, I've been around numerous animals my entire life and have many years of personal experiences in caring for animals of all kinds including but not limited to cats, dogs, reptiles and fish. I currently own and care for two cats, a Russian tortoise, three crested geckos and continue to enjoy caring for them all every day.
