I've taken care of dogs ever since I was 7. I grew up with two dachshunds (both 13 and 11) and for the past year, I've been working with their health and mindset to keep them energized and happy. My goal is to go on medium to long walks with my 3 dogs. I love walking dogs through woodlands and nature parks. I taught the 13-year-old how to sit and where to go potty. I also have a 2-year-old husky mix who is currently in training. I do really well with cats too! I have a Maine coon/savanna mix at home and he is purely wild and a piece of work. Both dogs and the cat get along well! I worked at a Petco for a year, and I specialized in finding the right healthy products for all pets. Diet is extremely important, so I always check the brands and find the healthiest meal plan for the specific dog. For a couple months, I was a counselor for a dog care center, so I'd jump into a yard and play with up to 25 dogs at once!! Right now, I am a part-time veterinary assistant at Banfield pet hospital. As a vet assistant, I ensure that the animal is calm and healthy, but I also like to speak to clients about their needs and priorities for the pet patient!
