Growing up on Kauai, I've always loved animals and the nature. One of my fondest memories was when I was a toddler and our neighbor down the road had a golden retriever named Abby. Anytime we would go for a walk, we would visit with her. At night she would come and sleep on our door step. It wasn't until I was in high school when my dad finally agreed into letting us get a dog. Posey, now a 7 year old, 100 lb, maremma labrador has been the joy of our lives. She is our sweet, loving, gentle polar bear! Aside my Posey, I have years of experience dog sitting for a family which included 4 dogs. Duties included walking, feeding, taking out to play in the large yard, cleaning up after them, and comforting them during fireworks. Now living on Oahu, away from my dog, I have puppy fever!
