I grew up on farms with a variety of animals from horses to dogs. New fur mama of a Dogue de Bordeaux, with whom I am entirely obsessed with! Responsible college student studying to become a veterinarian. This is the first time I've used Rover.com. I was so excited to have found someone close to my home to check-in on my guys. But, even better still, was that Kaytie was so sweet, experienced, and treated them well. She immediately responded when i texted to check-in. She also seemed to take care of my home: putting treats and leashes away, etc. It puts my mind at ease knowing that Kaytie is an option for future trips.
Kayties has been walking both of my dogs for almost two years now. My miniature pincher has grown to love spending time with her and all the neat little places she takes her. After getting my mastiff she helped me take on the challenge of getting him to be well behaved on walks and I couldn't be happier with the results. Yes, having Kaytie as a dog walker is great and I enjoy the fact knowing that my dogs are always getting the needed exercise but what I enjoy the most is the leash training. I have two young children and two dogs everywhere I go. knowing that they have been trained how to properly walk without pulling or reacting to other dogs near by is the most amazing thing. Kaytie is always a great help making sure to focus on what I ask her to when she takes my dogs for walks as well as occasionally grabbing dog food and treats when I'm running low. I highly recommend using her if you are in need of a dog walker!!!
We Love Kaytie! Our dog will actually hear her coming up the street and start running to the door to greet her. You can tell that she really loves animals by the way her face lights up when she sees them. She is very reliable. I would definitely recommend her.

I would like to know anything important that would aid me in the caring of your dog while you are away. I want to treat your dog as if I would treat my own, so knowing as much information as possible before our trips would benefit you and your dog exponentially! I would also like to know about your dogs temperament around other dogs and people to ensure the safety of your pup and others while on our adventures!
A typical day
I love the outdoors! Your dogs will go for walks anywhere from around the city and down by the river or even to more rural areas on farms and places like Bushy Run Battlefield. It is largely dependent on where you live and how long it takes to get to certain places. Your dogs will also enjoy trips to the dog park to play and socialize with other dogs (permission asked from owner beforehand). I will also provide trips to PetSmart to pick up dog supplies for you if you are running low ($5.00 fee to cover gas).
