Pet care experience
I have been a lifelong pet owner, with pets of all varieties. My current pets include an orange kitty and a couple of other pets. I'm open to regular dog-sitting or occasional walks. It gives me an excuse to get outside, and your pupper can get some nice sniffs and a good walk in.

Kaysie was so good with my pups and really helped me out in a pinch! Her check in updates and pictures were so nice to see. Definitely would recommend!
Kaysie was a Godsend! We were going across the country to attend a wedding, and had no one to care for our animals. She faithfully stopped by morning and evening for over a week to feed and water them…even when it snowed! She then extended her care for a couple of days when we had car trouble and had to delay our return. She’s a dependable, conscientious and very knowledgeable caregiver!
Kaysie has always been my go-to caregiver for all my animals (big to small, from fluffy to scaley). Kaysie's attention to detail especially about food restrictions, allergies, and behavior was a life saver when I would go out of town. I knew that my animals were always in the best care. PLUS she would send me little photos and updates which always made me feel better. 1000 out of 10 would recommend her.
Kaysie is great with all animals: cats, dogs, frogs or snakes. She has a wonderful demeanor with them and genuinely cares for their daily well being.

I would prefer to keep animals in their own home. Having their own humans gone is already stressful enough, and being in a totally new space without their people for support can be scary! My cat is somewhat tolerant of calm dogs, and I can accommodate them in my home on a short-term basis.

If we can discuss your pet's temperament ahead of time, that would be great. I'm not afraid of dogs and can tolerate rambunctiousness to a certain level. But I'm not looking to wrestle constantly with a big, poorly conditioned dog.
A typical day
I"m happy to cater to a dog's energy and excitement level. Are they high energy and can tolerate a 10 mile hike or an hour straight of fetch? We're there, dude. Are they old and crusty and just want to lay in the sun with some good pats? I've been meaning to catch up on my reading!

My schedule is fairly flexible most weeks. I currently work from home, but I'm often called out into the field to work. During times I'm unavailable, my partner is available to fill in.
