Pet care experience
I was raised by my grandparents who taught me from a young age to love animals. I was raised with important skills regarding interacting with and caring for animals. I'm used to dealing with pets who are happy, scared, exuberant, needy, and much more. I've cared for cats, dogs, chickens, and exotic birds. I currently have a seven-year-old cat and a six-year-old pup. Our dog has separation issues as well as mistrust with other dogs so I'm accustomed to dealing with high-maintenance animals.

Kaylyn helped me out on short notice to make sure my dog got a walk while I was at work. I appreciate her flexibility on times. She's also great at communicating when she's running a bit behind. This last trip was the longest we’ve been away from our kids, so I was a bit nervous. But I received daily updates and pictures from Kaylyn and of course all four of the kids were calm and happy when we got home. They’re always so relaxed when they spend time with her. It’s the best feeling knowing they’re being cared for so well.

I currently have a small to medium-sized dog, however, I'm used to dogs of all sizes. I've had experience with injuries, medication, and other needs. Please tell me if your pup is energetic, needs any special treatment, or doesn't get along well with other dogs.
A typical day
I love walking the Overland Park Hiking and Biking Trail with my pup. I also like to give my dog "sniff walks" where he can stop and sniff as much as he wants. I love to play with pups using their favorite toys, running around in the backyard, playing fetch or ball, and any of their other favorite games.

I am self-employed and work from home so I can fit my schedule into your pet's needs. I am available during the week and on weekends and have an extremely reliable vehicle.
