Pet care experience
I'm majoring in biology so that I can someday begin my career at a wildlife rehabilitation hospital or something of the like. I've always been fond of all creatures (I even trap all the bugs in the house so I can let them go outside). I'm used to watching dogs of all ages and breeds. I have yet to meet a dog I don't like and I try to be extra gentle and slow around timid dogs.

I often play with dogs in the backyard or go for walks. If you're comfortable with the idea and your dog is friendly with other dogs I would even consider bringing them to a dog park. When I watch my parents dogs, I brush them everyday (they're labs so they shed a bunch). And I try to give them lots of outside time playing together. I like to leave things better than I found them. I don't mind doing a little cleaning/organising while watching your pets at your house.

It's important that I understand your dogs temperament and personality. How do they react to other dogs or people? Are there any toys they especially like when they're feeling sad or frightened? If they have any quirks. I watched a dog recently that would only eat if I was watching her. It's also important to note if you have multiple animals how they all get along together.
A typical day
I like to walk my dogs mostly because I love to see them happy but it's great exercise and I love the fresh air myself. I chase them around outside and like to play fetch, tug of war, hide and seek. Every once in awhile I like to hide treats around to give them some mental stimulation.

Availability
I'm enrolled full-time as a student at FGCU. My schedule is very flexible and I only have classes Monday through Thursday. I have to be on campus at either 9 or 10:30am depending on the day. I have to stay until 4:15 or 11:45. With the exception of Tuesday I have to go back for a 3hr evening class.
