Pet care experience
I have always lived with dogs, from German Shepherds to Boston Terriers. Dogs have a special place in my heart as well as other animals. I have experience in dog sitting as I have dog sat for family pets for around 5 years. I currently have no animals in the home, the dogs I grew up with are in my mother's home. My pitbull/boxer mix has a heart murmur so he requires medication two times a day, everyday. Because of that, I am very experienced in giving oral medication to dogs. The only people in my home are my boyfriend and I. He has also had a dog all of his life and loves dogs! I live in a townhouse where the dog park is across the street from my apartment. I also live about .5 miles from a walking trail. I am available almost all day to give the dogs a walk or take them to the dog park!

Kaylyn was amazing and easy to work with/I was so grateful to have her tending to our old lil fella/our boy is nearly 14 and nearly deaf & blind and kennels would have sent him over the edge with anxiety/Kaylyn gave our lil guy the lovings he needed to make a 4 day stay very calm and happy/he was even confused when his Dad and I came to pick him up walking back and forth between Kaylyn and us/THAT was a reassuring sign he had been loved on/Kaylyn sent us pictures and updates and that eased my mind while I was out of town/will be happy to send our lil guy to her again in the future. Kaylyn is a fantastic dog sitter! She's taken great care of our dogs and home several times when we've left town. She always treats Ellie and Lucy just like her own...a meal and a walk is never missed! And she also makes sure to spend one on one cuddle time with them so they are comfortable. I highly recommend Kaylyn as a dog sitter!
Kaylyn has always had a love for animals, especially dogs. She frequently watches families dogs, cats, turtles, etc. She has experience with many breeds ranging from yorkies and Boston terries to Rottweilers and Lab mixes. Her experience and love for animals is obvious when watching her work with them.

I do not have any breed preferences however for dogs that come to my home I have to have small or medium dogs. Because I live in an apartment, it is a little harder for me to watch larger dogs. I would like to know as much as possible about your dog. Such as where you leave your pet when you have to leave the home (free to roam, puppy gate, crate, etc.) If he/she has any special needs such as medication.
A typical day
I live .5 miles from the Wapehani Mountain Bike Park so I can easily walk the dogs on the trails. I also have a dog park available at my apartment complex.
