Pet care experience
I have a resident dog that I adopted over four years ago. We spend lots of time on walks, with other dog friends, and playing with toys. Our fenced backyard makes zoomie time even better (and muddier). I'm in graduate school during the weekdays but evenings and weekends are full of adventures and playtime. I have two roommates who are also dog lovers who will provide extra snuggles (and lets be honest, treats). I leave my dog free to roam the house and sleep on the couch while I am away, your dog is welcome to do the same as long as they are potty trained and not destructive. If there are any behaviors you are working on with your dog, I am happy to help positively reinforce what they are working on learning.

I would like to know how they get along with other dogs, children, and any situations they may find unsettling (loud motorcycles, neighborhood cats, skateboards, etc.). I would also like to know what tricks they have up their little paws to get tasty treats! It is also helpful to know any unique personality quirks your dog has and how to best navigate those.
A typical day
We will go on walks all around Ballard - The Locks, Golden Gardens, and explore all the smells in-between. If your dog likes to be in the hustle and bustle we may go to the farmers market on Sunday or maybe stop for a cold drink at a brewery. For off-leash fun we will run around the backyard. If your dog is up for an adventure, we may even go on a weekend hike!
