Pet care experience
I grew up around dogs and have been interested in the specifics of pet care since I was a kid. More recently, I have taken on formal pet/housesitting for family friends and neighbors. This has included giving medication (both oral and topical).

Very happy with the care Kaylyn gave to my dog while I was away. She was sure to send me daily update with pictures and a little play by play of how my dog was doing. I was glad to hear all about their adventures and the security of knowing she was in good hands. I will definitely reach out to Kaylyn the next time I need a sitter.

Kaylyn did a wonderful job while we were gone for 2 weeks. She arrived early every morning and stayed with Frodo until the evening. He was able to stay alone overnight and Kaylyn was able to go home. It worked out perfectly. We received pictures of him and she gave us updates the whole time. We could see that she was taking very good care of him. They went for long walks, which our active 18-month old pug needed. She also played with him a lot and was good company for him. When we returned, Frodo was glad to see us, but we could tell he'd been well taken care of and our house was all in order. We would use her again without hesitation. We recommend her highly!

I currently live with another dog, Zico. He is super friendly and I have been helping to take care of him (including feeding, walking, and playing). As I have a lot of dog experience I like to work with the needs of each dog.

I need to be aware of any medications, allergies, and eating habits of your dog. Are they food or toy motivated? Any particular needs your dog may have will also be helpful. I also need to know if your dog has been with any other sitters recently, and how they behaved at the time of separation.
A typical day
The neighborhood I live in is a quiet, no traffic area. There is a soccer field nearby and long walks and/or runs are safe and easily accessible. I will play tug of war, fetch, and include social interactions with my dog as well. I also have mentally stimulating toys such as Kong balls, treat dispenser toys, and lickimats.

I am a full-time online student so my schedule is built to work around the schedule of a dog. My neighborhood is perfect for walking with dogs so they can get plenty of exercise!
