Pet care experience
Hi!! My name is Kaylin, and I work from home in NW Portland (next door to a dog park!), managing oncology, rare disease & ophthalmology clinical drug trials for a biopharma company, recently relocated from Detroit late January 2020 😊 prior to my recent move, I had 3 pets (Pomeranian age 7, Yorkshire Terrier age 14, and a Blue Lynx Siberian age 3) with occasional sitting services for my friends’ English Golden & other large breeds; however, the transition of a major move & being home alone for work amidst a pandemic has been tough, especially not being able to give love to any fur babies I call my own. With that said, I’d be more than happy to spoil your best friend with love whenever you’re unable to!!! I’m able to provide at least 2-3 walks a day, with frequent bathroom breaks outside up to once every hour as well. I’m happy to provide overnight stays as often as needed, with all the cuddles included! I have a patio where your best friend may people watch (if allowed), along with a spacious living room where they can lay & play just a few feet away from my standing desk during the day. Please note that I’m very familiar with dogs with high anxiety as my Yorkie of 14 years has struggled with separation & potty-training since we brought her home — my job is to provide reassurance that your best friend will be given the best personal care possible 😇 Your pets will be under constant supervision unless indicated otherwise prior to your booking, and I’d be more than happy to communicate any updates via photos/videos/text upon request too. I'd like to note that when I'm not glued to my home workstation or reading, I'm an avid hiker and love to explore the city on foot!! With that said, I'd love to know your dog's physical limitations in terms of exercise and/or whatever activities you'd recommend to maintain the best energy level for your furry best friend. * Please note that I am no longer providing weekday services due to my new job obligations & travel schedule having me away 8-10 days a month 😇 *

Amazing communication. Albus has a great time a Kaylin.
Kaylin is the best sitter! Very communicative, friendly, and I knew Penny was well taken care of!
Kaylin was beyond amazing!! we left our puppy with her for a few days so we could go on a trip and we didn’t have to worry about her once! kaylin was so professional and competent and did such a wonderful job communicating and caring for our puppy that we felt like she was in such good hands. she sent us so many photos and kept us updated throughout our puppy’s stay so we didn’t have to worry at all. i can’t recommend kaylin enough! she is such a great dog auntie and our puppy loved her so much!
Kaylin made me feel so comfortable leaving my puppy with her and she constantly kept me updated.

Information Kaylin Y. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to ensure that prior to watching your pet, you specifically indicate their needs in terms of bathroom frequency, anxiety around other people (including any differences towards certain genders) and other pets (dogs or cats), feeding schedules, potential or known allergies, whether they’re allowed on furniture, crating schedule (if required), any triggers for anxiety or behaviors (such as barking, whining, etc.) and anything else necessary for me to provide the utmost care possible!!!
A typical day
We’ll do our majority of walking in the NW / Pearl neighborhood, with the occasional stops to the dog park (unless indicated otherwise). I like to carry a ball, frisbee or any toy the dog is familiar playing with, or treats for reinforcements (if tricks + potty habits are being learned).
